MARITIME SIMULATION CENTER ROTTERDAM

The BridgEneering Conference will be held at the Maritime Simulation Centre Rotterdam, located on the South River Embankment of the Maas. This river is the main artery of the river Rhine flowing through Rotterdam and ends at the Hook of Holland into the North Sea.

MSR has an unique 360 deg. Full Mission Ocean-going Vessel Simulator and many other Ships Simulators.

MSR is located right next to the famous Rotterdam Erasmus Bridge, fitted with an ultra light weight steel deck of high tensile special steels.

Route Description

Public Transport:
From Rotterdam Central Station or any other location within Rotterdam, take the subway (Metro) North-South line and get out at station Wilhelminaplein; alternatively board a # 20 south bound tram and alight at the wilhelminakade stop. Walk westwards, i.e. across the main road at the end of the Erasmusbridge, until you see a building with a six-arch roof. This is now the Cruise lines arrival and departure hall. At the far end of this structure is a glass fronted building with a rotating door. This is the entrance of MSR.
